École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) is an engineering school in Montreal founded in 1974. With over 7,000 students, including more than 1,600 at the graduate and postgraduate levels, and close to 400 in Ph.D. programs, ÉTS is one of the biggest engineering schools in Canada. It offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate programs designed with an applied engineering focus. It cultivates close ties with industry through a dynamic co-operative education program, and boasts an outstanding degree of partnership-based research and innovation. It also includes a host of industry representatives in its decision-making bodies.
In the project, ÉTS focuses on cosmic radiations activities. ÉTS is involved in WP1 and WP4 by making available data from previous projects as AVIO403 and is the leader of WP4. In WP5, they will define, follow tests and analyze resulting experimental data.
The EPICEA project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 689007.
