Created in 1987, ARTTIC is an independent European provider of management services, especially in the area of large international collaborative Research and Development (R&D) projects. ARTTIC is a set of companies based in France, Belgium, Germany, UK and Israel. ARTTIC is an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) with a total workforce of about 70 persons.
ARTTIC provides specific and practical help with all aspects of international R&D projects. Services include helping clients to establish project feasibility; finding international participants; establishing consortia; managing the proposal development activities; helping negotiate contracts; taking charge of all non-technical management aspects of running projects and helping to disseminate and exploit successful project results.
ARTTIC staff has extensive experience and knowledge in a broad range R&D fields, such as Information and Communications Technology (ICT), telecommunications, education, health, bio-technologies, automotive industry, security, aeronautics, industrial technologies, advanced materials and microelectronics.
ARTTIC has two main responsibilities in the project:
- ARTTIC is in charge of the project office (WP7) for the European part of the project. ARTTIC supports the consortium in daily management and administrative tasks to ensure the collaboration is working efficiently, the project is properly monitored with decisions and actions taken according to the project progress and perfectly implemented.
- ARTTIC operates practical implementation of the dissemination, communication and exploitation action plan (WP6) for action directly scheduled for Europe.
